What will you do?

As a work preparation specialist in luxury yacht building, you guide the technical process before production. This includes creating clear technical drawings, comprehensive item/work lists, and ensuring that the necessary materials are available. To manage this effectively, you will be involved in:

• Gathering necessary information
• Creating and reviewing technical drawings and schematics for various onboard systems
• Collaborating with production and resolving any complications together
• Engineering the systems that will be installed on the yachts
• Reviewing and approving technical drawings and schematics from third parties before they go to the shop floor
• Helping to realize yacht projects from hull to sailing for our clients
• Working daily on beautiful (end) products
• Collaborating with a diverse and motivated team

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an experienced work preparation specialist with a sense of humor and perfectionism. Additionally, you possess:

• At least four years of relevant experience in yacht building
• A bachelor’s degree level of work and thinking (HBO), with a preference for a (completed) education in Maritime Engineering
• Specialist knowledge of onboard electrical systems in yachts
• Experience in planning and delegating tasks
• The ability to work independently, while also regularly consulting your team
• A driver’s license
