What will you do?
As a work preparation specialist in luxury yacht building, you guide the technical process before production. This includes creating clear technical drawings, comprehensive item/work lists, and ensuring that the necessary materials are available. To manage this effectively, you will be involved in:
- Gathering necessary information
- Creating and reviewing technical drawings and schematics for various onboard systems
- Collaborating with production and resolving any complications together
- Engineering the systems that will be installed on the yachts
- Reviewing and approving technical drawings and schematics from third parties before they go to the shop floor
- Helping to realize yacht projects from hull to sailing for our clients
- Working daily on beautiful (end) products
- Collaborating with a diverse and motivated team

What do we expect from you?
We are looking for an experienced work preparation specialist with a sense of humor and perfectionism. Additionally, you possess:
- At least four years of relevant experience in yacht building
- A bachelor’s degree level of work and thinking (HBO), with a preference for a (completed) education in Maritime Engineering
- Specialist knowledge of onboard electrical systems in yachts
- Experience in planning and delegating tasks
- The ability to work independently, while also regularly consulting your team
- A driver’s license
